Communication restores trust, and bridges What seem like two irre-concilable positions.

Clarifying ones position,feelings and thoughts accounts for about eighty-five percent of ‘healing communication’, since most problems are simply the result of a misunderstanding.

There are simple to follow for transformational communication:

Set your goal and know your purpose for the communication.. Realize that the other person is not here to meet your needs or to make you happy.

設定你的目標,了解你溝通的目的......要知道,對方沒有義務滿足你的需要或使你快樂。

This expectation creates a great deal of and constitutes the greatest mistake in any relationship.

這種期望在任何關係中造成大量錯誤。

Share your feeling of upset.

分享你不高興的感覺。

Take responsibility for your feelings and experience.

對你的感情和經驗負責。

If they are your feelings, you are the one who can change them.

如果它們是你的感情,你是唯一一個可以改變它們的人。

Blame stops communication and look for scapegoats (no one advances when this occurs).

怪罪別人和尋找代罪羔羊,將停止溝通。

Remember that the other person will be motivated to communicate if you are saying, ‘I Want to share something with you’ and meaning, ‘let me tell you what you did wrong’, then every time you open your mouth, you will be attacking - not communicating.

記住,如果你說[我想與大家分享東西],其他人會主動與你溝通,但如果是[讓我告訴你,你做錯了什麼],那麼每當開口時,你會被攻擊。

Take the upset feelings off the other person,‘and talk about your present feeling instead.

免除將心煩的感覺歸咎於其他人,並談談你現在的心情吧。

Do this as if you (not the other person) are responsible for your feelings.

做到這一點,你正對你的感受負責。(而不是希望其他人為你的感覺負責)

As you talk about your feeling, identify Whether they are old or familiar ones, which is the case if there is a negative pattern already there.

Discuss how these feelings may originate from other times and places, and share any old memories of similar situations.

To keep this effective, focus on the upsetting emotion as the most important thing to share, rather than the story.

If what you say ‘triggers off’ the other person emotionally, support then if they are in greater pain.

When they have finished, return to what you were saying.

During this communication, take a new attitude toward emotions.

在這個溝通中,邁出對情感的新態度。

Be willing to feel your feelings with neither exaggeration nor dismissal.

願意去感受你的感受,不誇張也不駁回。

An exaggeration is a form of emotional manipulation or blackmail, which avoids true feeling.

誇張是情緒操縱或勒索,避開了真實感覺。

It also reinforces dissociation, non-communication and feelings of failure in the other person.

也加強其他人分離,拒絕溝通和失敗的感受。

Often in a relationship, when one person feels terrible it is actually a relationship feeling shared by both but usually only felt by one unless there’s a lot of awareness.

通常在一個關係中,當一個人感到可怕時,實際上是關係雙方共通的情感,但通常只有一人感覺,除非有很多共同意識。

If that person either runs from their feelings, or tries to give the bad feeling to the other, the result is a power struggle.

Your willingness to own the bad feeling and transform it for both of you either by feeling the feelings until they are gone, or by some other means, will win the admiration of the other person.

You willingness to move forward will move you both forward.

你的願意會使你自己繼續前進。

Take responsibility for the other person’s feelings and experiences as well as your own.

See them as a part of your mind.

Recognize that anything they seem to be doing to you that you do not like is what you are doing to your self or what you are doing to others.

認識到他們似乎在對你做什麼,你不喜歡你正對你自己做什麼,或你正對別人做什麼。

If what you are experiencing is painful, ask your Higher Mind for help and grace.

如果你正經歷痛苦,詢問你的高我並尋找幫助和恩典。

Know that the extent to which you are relying on yourself is the extent of the difficulty.

了解,只靠自己很困難。(不確定是這個意思,還是別的意思)

If nothing else, use the power of choice to decide, ‘I could be feeling peace or happiness instead of this misery.’

如果沒意外,使用選擇的力量來決定,“我感到平靜和幸福,而不是痛苦”。

As you keep making this choice, you will notice the situation to unfold in a whole new way.

當你不斷進行選擇時,你會注意到情況以全新的方式展開。

Make an effort to reassure the other person about your positive feelings toward them and the relationship.

Do not be discouraged if your reassurances of love, faithfulness, and so on seem to disappear down a bottomless well, or if the other person seems to dismiss or not hear what you are saying - they will be listening and your reassurance will make a vital difference.

如果你感到愛,忠誠等等的保證似乎跑進一個深不見底的井消失了,不要氣餒,或其他人似乎不屑一顧,或聽不到你在說什麼,保持信心將起關鍵作用-他們會聽到你。

Do not allow grievances to get the way - even if you feel - or you will suffer for it.

To be totally right about how things are means you are them stuck with the situation as it presents itself.

Be willing to be wrong, so a happy situation can present itself.

If you don’t get caught by your anger, you can find the healing, the or miracle hiding behind every negativity.

Finally, remember to appreciate your partner through action, words and touch.
